There's plenty that goes into making sure that a bride looks impeccable on her wedding day. She needs to think about the dress, makeup, hair, and most importantly her shoes. For some brides, finding the perfect shoes to wear on their wedding day isn’t a big deal but, for others it can be challenging to find the perfect fit. There are many factors to consider when looking for your ultimate wedding shoes.

Here are a few helpful tips in finding the perfect wedding shoes you'll love for your big day:

First things First - Find Your Dress First

Starting off, there's no point in finding the perfect wedding shoes you'll love if you don’t have a dress. (unless you're a shoe fashionista, then by all means get your shoes first) First and foremost the length and style of your dress will be a key factor in the style of shoe you select. Bring your shoes to your first wedding gown fitting if possible. If you’re going for a shorter wedding dress your shoes will be a statement accessory.

Pop of Color

Most brides have a very specific wedding style that they want to wear on their special day. Some brides are drawn to traditional style shoes that are white and nude. On the other hand, maybe you want to step outside the box. For instance, add some colorful options like pink and red. Along with that, keeping with traditions you can add “something blue” for your shoes to complete your wedding day look.

Wedding Day Theme and Style

Your wedding gown style and wedding day theme will determine the type of shoes you want to consider for your event.  Therefore, your options are endless, anything from various types of pumps, bridal flats to strappy sandals, wedges, sneakers, and beach flat sandals. In creating your wedding day look, keep in mind your venue and the location that your ceremony will be taking place. For example, a beach vs a garden ceremony.  Don’t want your heels to get damaged; we have found an awesome heel protector called “The Soulmates” that will save your heel from getting ruined.

If the Shoe Fits Wear it!

Above all, you’ll want to start early and research all of the shoe options (try them on) and make sure they’re comfortable. As a bride you're going to be on your feet throughout the entire day, so make should they are the perfect fit. Obviously, there are thousands of different styles of bridal shoes. In other words, you won’t know if it’s the right fit until your foot slips into it. If you like multiple pairs, buy them all but make sure you know the store's return policy so you can return the ones you don’t like.

Wear them again

Lastly, find a pair of shoes that are versatile and can be worn to another event. Every time you wear these shoes they will remind you of your big day.  Women tend to buy shoes once for special occasions and then will never wear them again.

Whatever the color or style of shoes you select, just make sure that you love them and they are comfortable because you will be in them for the entire time of your wedding and they will be in all your wedding pictures. Happy Shoe Hunting:)

When it comes to choosing hairstyles and accessories for your wedding day, the possibilities are endless. Choices can depend
on the style of your dress, your face shape, and the possible theme or season of your wedding (if you want to correlate the two).
What matters most, however, is how they fit your personality. Here are some fun ideas and suggestions on how to style your hair
for the big day.

(*Note: Each wedding hairstyle will have one or two pictures correlated to its number for your viewing).

1. Chignon Hairstyles

The chignon, more commonly known as the “low bun,” is one of the most popular wedding hairstyles. With many different variations to choose from (such as incorporating braids and curls), there are endless possibilities for accessories. Crystal hairpins with any-length veil (or if you want to be a little different, try a birdcage veil) will be a great combination for this do!

2.  Half Up/Half Down Looks

This hairstyle is perfect for the bride that doesn’t want to fully commit to an updo, but still wants the intricate details of one. Classic and elegant, you can twist your hair or braid it in the back, and then add some voluminous curls to the bottom. We recommend using a pearl hairpin in the back to connect to your veil and complete the look!

3.  Hollywood Curls

Speaking of voluminous curls, few wedding hairstyles can compete with the glamour of old Hollywood curls. This retro style can be either loose and pretty or defined and striking. For accessories, what can be more glamorous than a dazzling tiara or rhinestone headpiece? Pair them with a cathedral-length veil, and this hairstyle will be perfect for you to live your red carpet fantasy!

4.  Ponytail Hairstyles

If you want your hair out of your face, but don’t want a complete updo, ponytails are another great option! Whether it's a high, low, sleek, or messy ponytail, this hairstyle is an absolute classic. If you want to showcase this style even more, go for a birdcage or blusher veil. Adding a crystallized hairpiece on the side will also really get that unique look.

5.  Braided Looks

If you’re looking for another bohemian look that is a bit more detailed than loose waves, why not try braids? Whether it's a single braid
or mixed into another hairstyle, this look works for both classic and modern weddings. We also suggest pairing this look with a more fun accessory, like an embellished hairpin or flowers!

6. Loose Waves/Curls

Do you want your hair to be down, but don’t want the exaggerated curls that come with the Hollywood look? Why not try simple loose waves? This style is perfect for more laid-back or bohemian weddings. Add a flower crown and shoulder-length veil, and you've got the ultimate bohemian wedding look that's simply to die for.

Each hairstyle and accessory offers a different, unique, and stunning look; but remember, your choice is ultimately what you feel most beautiful in!

At Bridal Fashion Week in Manhattan this past weekend, ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ star and designer Randy Fenoli released his new 2019, 36-piece collection, Silver Springs.

“Every collection that you see from me is inspired by the brides,” said Fenoli, surrounded by his new gown collection. He emphasizes that every bride is different, and showcases this uniqueness in his new collection. “I have this fabric over here that’s very light, delicate fabric, but it’s got a nice big pattern. So if you’re more curvy, the big pattern works and if you’re more petite, the lightness of the fabric works.” Fenoli’s website also highlights his belief that “no matter what her size, age or shape, EVERY woman is beautiful.” Every dress in Fenoli’s collection goes up to a size 30, which can be ordered for no extra charge.

Fenoli has been designing and sewing gowns since he was 9 years old, and graduated from FIT with multiple awards for his designs. He released his first two collections, Randy Fenoli for the Diamond Collection and Randy Fenoli for Dressy Creations after graduating. He worked as the Kleinfeld Bridal Fashion Director for five years and is now returning to designing, releasing his own collections of dresses.

This new collection features a variety of fabrics, silhouettes and styles to suit any bride. Beautifully embellished with beading, lace and other embroideries make the dresses unique, and every strapless dress in the collection has a detachable strap or sleeve, according to Randy.
