Weddings are the chance for you to bring everyone you love together in one place to celebrate, but what about the furry friends we keep at home who love us the most? We are talking about your dogs and cats! There are many adorable ways to include your pets in your wedding. We have a few tips on how to make your pet feel like a member of the family on your wedding day. However, remember to always check with your venue and their COVID-19 restrictions to find out if they allow pets.

A Pet is Man’s Best Ring Bearer

An idea that is trendy for well-behaved and obedient pets is making them the ring bearer or flower girl. This is the perfect chance to dress up your cat or dog in an adorable little tuxedo. Then you could attach the rings to a pillow on their back. For your flower girl pet, you can put her in a dress or even a simple collar with flowers. If your pet comes to you on command, they can walk down the aisle to you all on their own. Otherwise, you can have a traditional ring bearer and flower girl walk your pet on a leash to you.

Pets are the Star of the Wedding

Your obedient pet can also be present in your wedding ceremony by standing with you at the altar. Having your pet front and center during your ceremony gives your guests an even more adorable view. He or she can also be a great visual representation of your union as a couple. Especially when your dog or cat is one that you share with your partner. Make sure you have someone there who can care of your pet in case things don’t go as planned. Preferably this person should be a pet sitter and not one of your guests.

Pet Inspired Treats

Although it is fun to have your furry friend at your wedding sometimes it is not possible. There are still creative ways your pet can be included in your wedding.
