Alexis Stein Photography is a husband and wife team based out of New York with over 20 years combined experience. When they are not shooting weddings, events, or portraits they are spending their time getting to know the people who they are going to work with. A goal of theirs is to make each and every person, couple, family that they work with feel right at home. The experience with Alexis Stein Photography is a fun one that you will never forget. They capture your memories with a flawless mix of photo-journalistic, artistic, traditional, and sometimes a conceptual style of shooting. In their spare time, they spend time as a family with their Daughter...playing board games (Apples to Apples, Scattergories, Ticket to Ride) mountain biking, hiking, seeing the latest blockbuster movie, enjoying fine wines, location scouting, playing video games (ask for their XBox Live tag), trips to the zoo, or museums. A day shooting with Alexis Stein Photography is like a day with family, they are not overbearing, they get along with everyone, and most of all, they could become some of your new best friends.
In regards to their careers, Alexis has a degree in photography from Rhode Island School of Design and has been a professional photographer for about 10 years. While Keith, who is self-taught, has been a professional photographer for about 12 years. They met AS photographers and fell in love not only with each other but with the idea of sharing it with others, together.
This year has opened many doors for this dedicated couple. They just celebrated the opening of a photography studio in the historic district of Miller Place, New York. They were also just awarded with the honor of being Long Island Press Best of Long Island Photography Studio for 2012 and a Brides Choice Award from WeddingWire.com with over 25 - 5 star reviews from their adoring couples.
